  • Analytics & Usage Data: We use tools such as Google Analytics and Google Mobile Ads to collect information about how you interact with the App. This may include the type of device you use, access times, pages viewed, and features interacted with.
  • IP Address & Approximate Location: If available, we may capture your general location (e.g., city or country level) for analytics and marketing purposes. We do not currently collect precise GPS data.

2.3 Subscription & Payment Information

  • All subscription purchases for Amigo Lingo occur via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We receive notifications about your subscription status (active, renewed, canceled) but we do not collect or store any payment card details.

2.4 Data from Third Parties

  • OpenAI (AI Conversations): When you chat with our AI partner, the messages you send are processed via OpenAI’s API. We encourage you to review OpenAI’s own privacy policy to understand how they handle data transmitted via their API.
  • Facebook Pixel (Website): On our website, we may use the Facebook Pixel for advertising and analytics. We also may create lookalike audiences on Facebook using hashed email addresses.

3. Children’s Privacy

3.1 Not Intended for Children Under 13

  • We do not knowingly allow children under the age of 13 to create accounts. If our system detects a birthdate indicating that a user is 13 or under, the registration process will be blocked.
  • If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete the information promptly.

3.2 Users Under 16 in Other Jurisdictions

  • While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We disclaim liability for breaches that occur outside our reasonable control (e.g., if a third party’s systems are compromised).
